Getting Measurements

Using a steel tape measure, measure the visible glass size. Take 3 measurements from the bottom, middle, and top of the glass size width and make a note of the smallest measurement accurate to the nearest millimetre.

Do the same for the glass size drop, taking measurements from the left, middle, and right of the glass drop and making a note of the smallest measurement to the nearest millimeter.

Beading Depth

Bead depth gives you the measurement from the face of the window frame to the glass.

If you do not have a depth gauge, you can also do this by putting a straight edge across the
corner of your window and then measuring down to the glass. Something like a credit card will
work.

Handle Location

To determine your handles position:

1. Fully extend the handle to expose the base plate.

2. Measure from the glass's bottom inside corner to the handle's centre point when open.

3. This guarantees accurate shutter modification for smooth window operation.
